Fistula Advocates Visit Capitol Hill

In May 2007, fistula advocates Sarah Omega of Kenya and Caroline Ditina of the Democratic Republic of Congo visited Washington D.C. to share their personal experiences and urge support for a resolution which guarantees a US commitment to reducing maternal mortality.Sarah and Caroline's visit drew a great deal of media attention, including online coverage on Medill Reports and UN Radio.
